Rat MIP-1 alpha/CCL3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich, double-antibody ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of MIP-1 Alpha (also known as CCL3, MIP-1alpha, SCYA3 or LD78ALPHA) in rat-derived samples. MIP-1 Alpha is a chemokine involved in the regulation of inflammatory responses and immune cell migration, and is a biomarker of interest in research on infection, inflammation and autoimmune disease.

Accepted sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, using a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Manufacturer-reported performance includes a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and an assay range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85-105%, 92-97% and 80-99% for serum; 92-97%, 90-101% and 84-101% for EDTA plasma; and 83-96%, 83-94% and 82-99% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranges are 91-101% (average 93%) for serum, 87-100% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 90-102% (average 96%) for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
