Rat MIF (Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor) CLIA Kit (RTES00374)

This chemiluminescence immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative detection of MIF in rat serum, plasma, and other biological fluids using a 96-well microplate format. The assay is intended for research use only and supports inflammation, immunology, and cytokine profiling studies where macrophage migration inhibitory factor plays a regulatory role in immune cell recruitment and stress responses.

Each kit contains pre-coated plates, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and a chemiluminescent substrate. A typical protocol uses 50 µl of sample per well with overnight incubation at 2-8 °C, followed by substrate addition and signal capture on a luminometer. Store unopened components refrigerated at 2-8 °C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles of diluted standards and protect the substrate from light to preserve signal stability.
