Rat Microfibrillar Associated Protein 4 (MFAP4) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie rat MFAP4 sandwich ELISA enables quantitative measurement of microfibrillar associated protein 4 across serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants. MFAP4 is a 36 kDa extracellular matrix glycoprotein that binds collagen and tropoelastin, supporting elastic fiber assembly; altered circulating levels have been reported in rodent models of hepatic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, and cardiovascular remodeling, making the assay useful for translational connective tissue and biomarker research.

Each kit ships with a 96-well microplate and reagents for colorimetric detection, using a 50 µL sample volume per well. The assay demonstrates no significant cross-reactivity with rat serum albumin. Store refrigerated and protect from light; intended for research use only.
