Rat Meteorin-like protein/METRNL ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of Meteorin-like protein (Metrnl) in rat samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format, the assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is read at 450 nm following TMB-based color development.

The kit delivers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Recovery in serum averages 95% (range 90-101%), in EDTA plasma 94% (range 87-100%), and in heparin plasma 94% (range 85-103%). Linearity is maintained across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with serum recoveries of 96-105%, 87-101%, and 85-101% respectively; EDTA plasma at 82-97%, 82-98%, and 86-99%; and heparin plasma at 82-99%, 81-100%, and 85-95%.

Metrnl plays a role in metabolic regulation, inflammation, and tissue repair, and has been implicated in obesity, diabetes, and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these diseases and potential therapeutic interventions. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months under recommended conditions.
