Rat Metallothionein-1/MT-1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of rat Metallothionein-1 (MT-1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double antibody sandwich format provides colorimetric detection with high sensitivity and specificity for accurate quantification of MT-1 in rat specimens.

Reported performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions. Recovery across the same matrices averaged 95% in serum (range 91-97%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 85-103%), and 94% in heparin plasma (range 86-104%). The kit is intended for storage at 2-8°C for 12 months.
