Rat Mesothelin (Msln) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of rat mesothelin (Msln), this sandwich ELISA is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay reacts specifically with both natural and recombinant rat mesothelin, and is positioned for cancer research, including studies of mesothelioma and related conditions.

Manufacturer-reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 78-5000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 39.6 pg/mL, an intra-assay coefficient of variation of 5.4% and an inter-assay coefficient of variation of 7.0%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at dilution ratios of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with reported recovery of 82% (range 80-88%) for serum and 84% (range 80-90%) for plasma.
