Rat MDC/CCL22 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (CCL22) in rat samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method.

Reported assay performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 80% and 105%. Spike-and-recovery across the same three matrices averages 93% (serum), 93% (EDTA plasma) and 94% (heparin plasma). Reconstituted components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with selected items (microplate strips and lyophilized standard) also supported at -20°C for 12 months, per the manufacturer.

CCL22 is a chemokine known for regulating immune cell trafficking and inflammation, supporting research applications in immunology and related fields. The procedure uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm immediately after stop solution addition.
