Rat MCPIP/Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-induced Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA kit built on a double-antibody platform for the quantitative measurement of Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein-induced Protein 1 in rat samples. The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and it offers a sensitivity of 2.344 pg/mL across a working range of 3.906-250 pg/mL. MCP-1/IP-10 is recognised as a key mediator of immune response and inflammation, contributing to the recruitment of monocytes and T cells to sites of inflammation.

Validated performance supports research in cardiovascular biology and inflammation-related disease. Linearity in serum (n=5) spans 81-99% at 1:2, 80-98% at 1:4 and 81-98% at 1:8 dilution, with EDTA plasma (n=5) at 82-97%, 81-100% and 87-96% and heparin plasma (n=5) at 82-94%, 80-98% and 83-97%. Recovery ranges from 88-98% (serum, average 93%), 80-98% (EDTA plasma, average 87%) and 90-96% (heparin plasma, average 94%). Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
