Rat Matrix Metalloproteinase 1 (MMP1) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this quantitative rat MMP1 ELISA quantifies interstitial collagenase (Uniprot P81563) across sample matrices that include rat serum, EDTA and heparin plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants. Sensitivity reaches 6.7 pg/mL with a working detection range of 15.625 to 1000 pg/mL, providing the resolution needed to profile low-abundance collagenolytic activity in rodent models of wound healing, cardiac and hepatic fibrosis, and inflammatory connective-tissue damage. The protocol uses 100 µL of sample per well and runs through sequential 37 °C incubations in a standard microplate workflow, finishing with a substrate reaction read on a plate reader. Each kit supplies reagents for 96 determinations; recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%), EDTA plasma (90%), and heparin plasma (84%), with intra-assay CV below 10% and inter-assay CV below 12%.
