Rat Malate Dehydrogenase 1/MDH1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay kit designed for the precise measurement of Malate Dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) levels in rat samples. The kit supports rat reactivity and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

MDH1 is an important enzyme involved in the citric acid cycle, playing a vital role in cellular energy production. Dysregulation of MDH1 has been implicated in various metabolic disorders and diseases, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and exploring potential therapeutic interventions. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measuring range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, wash buffer, stop solution and plate sealer, along with a technical manual. Reported linearity falls within 88-104% for serum, 83-98% for EDTA plasma and 81-99% for heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with average recoveries of 93%, 96% and 97% respectively. The kit is intended to support metabolism research.
