Rat Malate Dehydrogenase 1 (MDH1) ELISA Kit

MDH1, the cytosolic isoform of malate dehydrogenase, catalyzes the reversible NAD+/NADH-dependent conversion between malate and oxaloacetate and is a widely used marker in studies of metabolic reprogramming and mitochondrial biology. This Assay Genie microplate kit enables quantitative measurement of MDH1 protein in rat tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants for research use only.

The 96-assay configuration ships with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash concentrate, chromogenic substrate, and stop reagent. Standards and samples are added to wells, incubated, washed, and developed, with absorbance read at the appropriate wavelength to quantify MDH1 against the supplied standard curve.
