Rat Lysosomal alpha-glucosidase (Gaa) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of rat Lysosomal alpha-glucosidase (Gaa), an enzyme essential for the degradation of glycogen to glucose in lysosomes and relevant to research into glycogen storage disorders such as Pompe disease. The kit reacts with rat samples and detects both natural and recombinant rat Lysosomal alpha-glucosidase.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The reported detection range is 1.56-100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.81 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 5.1% and inter-assay CV as 8.9%. Recovery from serum samples averaged 97% (range 91-103%), while recovery from plasma samples averaged 99% (range 93-105%). Linearity data are provided across dilution ratios for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Subcellular localisation of the target is lysosome and lysosome membrane, and the research area is metabolism.
