Rat Lutropin subunit beta (Lhb) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of rat Lutropin subunit beta (Lhb), also referred to as Luteinizing hormone subunit beta, LH-B, or Lutropin beta chain. It uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with rat samples. According to the manufacturer, the target is a secreted heterodimer composed of a common alpha chain and a unique beta chain that confers biological specificity to thyrotropin, lutropin, follitropin and gonadotropin, with a reported molecular weight of 14.4 kDa.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is specific to natural and recombinant rat Lutropin subunit beta. The reported detection range is 0.156-10 ng/mL, with a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL. Reported reproducibility figures are an intra-assay CV of 4.1% and an inter-assay CV of 6.6%. Recovery is given as 91% (range 85-97%) for serum and 93% (range 87-99%) for plasma.
