Rat LPPR1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is a tool for detecting LPPR1 levels in rat biological samples such as serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates. LPPR1, also known as lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein 1, is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism and cell signalling pathways. It plays a role in nerve regeneration, myelination, and synaptic plasticity, making it a valuable target for studying neurological disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and peripheral neuropathies.

The kit uses a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody format with a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Validated linearity data demonstrate consistent performance across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8. For serum (n=5), linearity ranges from 89–103% to 99–105%; EDTA plasma (n=5) ranges from 84–101% to 83–97%; heparin plasma (n=5) ranges from 83–100% to 81–96%. Recovery averages are 98% for serum (93–102%), 96% for EDTA plasma (92–100%) and 94% for heparin plasma (94–105%).
