Rat Liver X Receptor Alpha (LXRa) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Liver X Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of LXRα (gene NR1H3), a nuclear receptor transcription factor that regulates cholesterol efflux, reverse cholesterol transport, hepatic lipogenesis, and inflammatory gene expression in hepatocytes, Kupffer cells, macrophages, and adipose tissue. The kit supports studies of metabolic disease, atherosclerosis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, and dyslipidaemia in rat models.

Capture antibodies are specific to the rat LXRα isoform and show no significant cross-reactivity with the paralogous LXRβ (NR1H2) receptor, ensuring isoform-resolved quantitation. Reconstituted standards and diluted samples should be stored at -20°C and protected from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antigenicity; unopened kit components are shipped refrigerated. Each microplate provides 96 wells for sandwich immunoassay measurements, with colorimetric readout for in vitro research use only.
