Rat Lipoprotein a ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of Lipoprotein a levels in rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay offers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL, and kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity for serum (n = 5) ranges from 94-104% at a 1:2 dilution to 80-94% at a 1:8 dilution; for EDTA plasma (n = 5), 85-95% to 86-98%; and for heparin plasma (n = 5), 97-101% to 81-99%. Recovery ranges were 88-101% (average 95%) for serum, 86-102% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-101% (average 94%) for heparin plasma. The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
