Rat Lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein type 4 (Lppr4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of rat Lipid phosphate phosphatase-related protein type 4 (Lppr4). The assay is intended for use with serum and plasma samples, and is also applicable to tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a detection range of 1.56-100ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.78ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.6% and inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recovery averages 106% for serum (range 100-112%) and 108% for plasma (range 102-114%). The antibody pair recognises natural and recombinant rat Lppr4.

Lppr4, also known as plasticity-related gene 1 protein (PRG-1), is a multi-pass membrane protein (UniProt Q7TMB7; molecular weight 83,362 Da) that hydrolyses lysophosphatidic acid and supports axonal outgrowth and regenerative sprouting in neurons. The kit is supplied for research use only.
