Rat LIPG/Endothelial Lipase ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (double antibody) assay from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of endothelial lipase (LIPG) in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The format uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody, and HRP-conjugated streptavidin, with a TMB substrate and absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is 0.375 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Recovery in serum (n = 5) is 94–96% (average 95%); in EDTA plasma (n = 5) 86–103% (average 96%); and in heparin plasma (n = 5) 85–103% (average 97%). Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months, and a dual-function design includes validated Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification.

Endothelial lipase is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism and the regulation of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, with dysregulation linked to cardiovascular disease. The kit is intended for research use only.
