Rat Lipase, Pancreatic (PL) ELISA Kit

Pancreatic lipase (PL) is the principal digestive enzyme that hydrolyzes dietary triglycerides in the small intestine, and measuring its concentration in rat specimens is widely used to investigate exocrine pancreatic function, lipid metabolism, and conditions such as acute pancreatitis, pancreatic insufficiency, and obesity-related metabolic disease. This Assay Genie kit is built on a two-antibody capture architecture with an enzymatic endpoint read on a standard microplate reader. The assay uses a 50 uL sample volume per well, runs in under three hours at room temperature with all buffers provided, and the reagents should be refrigerated at 4 degrees C upon arrival. Reconstituted standards and detection antibody are stable through multiple freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted. The plate is pre-coated and supplied as a single-use strip plate within the kit, which also includes recombinant PL standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop reagent.
