Description

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative measurement of Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor (LIFR) in rat samples. The assay uses a colorimetric readout and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. LIFR is a receptor that mediates the biological activities of leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF), a cytokine involved in cell differentiation, proliferation, and survival.

The workflow includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Sample preparation guidance is provided for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant, and cell lysate.

Reported linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is 95–101%, 87–102%, 97–104% in serum; 86–98%, 84–100%, 82–100% in EDTA plasma; and 84–98%, 91–99%, 81–99% in heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 88–101% (average 95%) for serum, 86–98% (average 94%) for EDTA plasma, and 93–102% (average 98%) for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
