Rat LIF/Leukemia inhibitory factor ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) in rat samples. Using a colorimetric, double-antibody method, the assay provides a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a measurable range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL.

LIF is a cytokine that plays a central role in cell differentiation and proliferation, with involvement in hematopoiesis, embryonic development, and immune response regulation. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples (UniProt reference: P17777).

Components supplied include a pre-coated ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, and plate sealer. The procedure follows a standard sandwich ELISA workflow: equilibration of reagents, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. Unopened kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
