Rat Leptin (Lep) ELISA Kit

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and the target, also known as Obesity factor (Ob), is a secreted hormone central to the regulation of energy balance, appetite and metabolism.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 3.5% and inter-assay CV at 7.2%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution series, with serum recovery averaging 87% (range 81–93%) and plasma recovery averaging 89% (range 83–95%).
