Rat LDHB ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for quantitative measurement of lactate dehydrogenase B (LDHB) in rat samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm. The kit has a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL and a working range of 1.563-100 ng/mL.

LDH is an enzyme that plays a key role in cellular energy production, and its levels can indicate tissue damage or disease. LDH B is particularly important for assessing tissue injury in conditions such as myocardial infarction, liver disease, and muscle damage, making this assay useful for researchers studying various physiological and pathological processes in rats.

Reported linearity for serum (n=5) is 87-104% at 1:2, 82-100% at 1:4, and 88-99% at 1:8. EDTA plasma (n=5) showed 85-96%, 83-97%, and 80-100% at the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (n=5) showed 85-103%, 88-99%, and 82-97%. Recovery ranges were 85-105% (average 95%) for serum, 86-101% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 86-105% (average 92%) for heparin plasma. The assay is supplied with a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, and supporting buffers, and is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
