Rat La-related protein 7 (Larp7) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of La-related protein 7 (Larp7), also referred to as La ribonucleoprotein domain family member 7, in rat samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat La-related protein 7. LARP7 acts as a negative transcriptional regulator of polymerase II genes via the 7SK RNP system, and its dysregulation has been linked to various diseases, making it a useful biomarker for epigenetic and gene-regulation research. The target protein localises to the nucleus and nucleoplasm (UniProt Q5XI01) and has a reported molecular weight of 64,949 Da.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 4.1% and inter-assay CV of 7.6%. Linearity has been validated across serum (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (e.g. 106-116%, 96-109%, 94-104% and 108-118%), with comparable behaviour in EDTA plasma (103-112%, 101-111%, 105-115%, 102-112%) and heparin plasma (108-119%, 90-100%, 101-110%, 100-110%). Average recovery is 88% for serum (range 82-94%) and 90% for plasma (range 84-96%).

Reagents supplied include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents A and B, sample and assay diluents, wash buffer, substrate and stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm. For research use only.
