Rat Krueppel-like factor 10 (Klf10) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of rat Krueppel-like factor 10 (Klf10), also known by the synonyms Transforming growth factor-beta-inducible early growth response protein 1, Zinc finger transcription factor homolog CPG20, TGFB-inducible early growth response protein 1, Cpg20, Tieg, and Tieg1. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with rat samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat Krueppel-like factor 10.

The assay is suitable for measuring Klf10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. It has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.086ng/mL. The Klf10 protein (UniProt: O08876) is localised to the nucleus and functions as a transcriptional repressor that binds the consensus sequence 5'-GGTGTG-3', regulating circadian expression of genes involved in lipogenesis, gluconeogenesis, and glycolysis in the liver, and modulating the circadian clock by binding the GC box sequence in the promoter of the core clock component ARTNL/BMAL1.
