Rat Klk9 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of kallikrein-related peptidase 9 (KLK9) in rat samples, this ELISA kit from Assay Genie employs a sandwich, double-antibody format with colorimetric detection. KLK9 is a member of the kallikrein enzyme family, which are involved in proteolysis and the regulation of physiological processes, and has been implicated in disorders such as cancer and inflammation, making it a valuable biomarker for research applications.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity data show ranges of 86-103%, 84-98%, and 80-93% for serum at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions respectively; 86-103%, 87-98%, and 82-100% for EDTA plasma; and 89-105%, 90-101%, and 83-99% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 88-104% (average 94%) for serum, 85-101% (average 91%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-97% (average 91%) for heparin plasma.

The assay procedure includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
