Rat KIAA0101/PCNA-associated factor ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of KIAA0101/PCNA-associated factor (also known as PAF or Platelet Activating Factor) in rat samples. It supports research in the area of epigenetics and nuclear signaling, as the target protein is involved in cell cycle regulation and DNA repair, with dysregulation implicated in diseases including cancer.

The assay is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a colorimetric detection method. Reported mean recovery is 96% in serum (range 91-103%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 86-102%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 90-101%). Provided components include lyophilized standard and biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, wash buffer (25X), stop solution, and plate sealer. Storage is at 2-8°C; cryopreservation should be avoided.

The procedure involves equilibrating TMB substrate at room temperature, adding 50 µL of standard or sample and 50 µL of biotin-labeled antibody per well, incubating at 37°C for 45 minutes, washing, developing color with TMB substrate in the dark at 37°C for 10-20 minutes, adding stop solution, and reading absorbance at 450 nm on a microplate reader.
