Rat Keratinocyte growth factor (Fgf7) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed to quantify rat Keratinocyte growth factor (FGF7), also known as Heparin-binding growth factor 7, HBGF-7, or Kgf. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for use with rat samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. It specifically detects natural and recombinant rat Fibroblast growth factor 7 (UniProt Q02195; molecular weight 22,268 Da; NCBI Gene ID 29348). FGF7 is described as a growth factor active on keratinocytes and a possible major paracrine effector of normal epithelial cell proliferation. For research use only.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL, sensitivity of 7.88 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.2%, and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Recovery is 89% on average (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% on average (range 85-97%) for plasma. Reported linearity at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 spans 85-95% to 83-93% for serum (N=5), 109-119% to 97-106% for EDTA plasma (N=5), and 92-101% to 109-119% for heparin plasma (N=5).
