Rat Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 20 (Krt20) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 20 (Krt20). It uses a colorimetric detection method and recognizes both natural and recombinant rat Krt20, with a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.9 pg/mL.

The kit is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Krt20 (UniProt P25030; molecular weight 49,388 Da) is a type I cytoskeletal keratin that plays a significant role in maintaining keratin filament organization in intestinal epithelia and, when phosphorylated, contributes to mucin secretion in the small intestine. The protein assembles as a heterotetramer of two type I and two type II keratins and partners with KRT8.
