Rat Kallikrein-8 (Klk8) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Kallikrein-8 in rat samples, this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie targets the KLK8 serine protease, also known as Neuropsin. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant rat Kallikrein-8.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.33ng/mL, a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.3% and inter-assay CV of 9.4%. Linearity has been evaluated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16), with serum at 87-114%, EDTA plasma at 101-122% and heparin plasma at 85-120%. Recovery averages 101% in serum (range 95-107%) and 103% in plasma (range 97-109%). The associated UniProt entry is O88780, with a reported molecular weight of 28,510 Da.
