Rat ITLN1/Intelectin-1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of rat Intelectin-1 (ITLN1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for use with rat specimens, with colorimetric readout.

The kit has a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Reported linearity at serial 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions covers 87-104%, 88-100% and 89-101% for serum (n=5); 84-93%, 83-94% and 84-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 85-95%, 81-99% and 88-98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery averages are 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma and 93% for heparin plasma, with corresponding recovery ranges of 90-97%, 90-100% and 87-97%. Intelectin-1 (also known as ITLN1, HL-1, Omentin, LFR, hIntL, INTL or intestinal lactoferrin receptor; UniProt E9PT30) is a lectin-family protein linked to innate immunity, inflammation and host defence and is of research interest as a biomarker in inflammatory, metabolic and neoplastic disease.

Components are stored at 2-8°C and the kit is stable for 12 months under appropriate conditions. The workflow includes plate and reagent equilibration, sample and standard loading with incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
