Rat ITGA2B/CD41 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the precise detection of integrin alpha 2b beta 3 (also known as CD41) levels in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/mL.

Integrin alpha 2b beta 3 is a cell adhesion molecule involved in platelet aggregation and thrombus formation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cardiovascular disorders. The kit is intended for research applications in rat models. Storage is recommended at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n = 5) is reported as 97–105%, 87–104% and 90–102% for serum; 84–92%, 89–99% and 82–100% for EDTA plasma; and 82–95%, 80–98% and 80–96% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 86–102% (average 94%) for serum, 86–98% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 89–104% (average 97%) for heparin plasma.
