Rat Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NADP], mitochondrial (Idh2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NADP], mitochondrial (IDH2), also known by synonyms including ICD-M, IDP, NADP(+)-specific ICDH and Oxalosuccinate decarboxylase. It is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human IDH2.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL. Reported intra-assay precision is 4.4% CV and inter-assay precision is 7.1% CV. Linearity has been characterized across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 88% in serum (range 82-94%) and 90% in plasma (range 84-96%).

IDH2 is a mitochondrial NADP(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase that plays a role in intermediary metabolism and energy production. It catalyzes the third step of the citric acid cycle, the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to alpha-ketoglutarate and CO2, and may tightly associate or interact with the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.
