Rat Interferon gamma (Ifng) ELISA Kit

Interferon gamma is produced by lymphocytes activated by specific antigens or mitogens and plays important roles in antiviral activity, macrophage activation, immunoregulation, and antiproliferative effects on transformed cells, with activity that can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons. The kit reports an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.6%, with recovery averages of 104% for serum and 106% for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant rat Interferon gamma, and the target protein (UniProt P01581) is a secreted homodimer belonging to the Interferon protein family.
