Rat Inhibin B/INHBB ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Inhibin B (INHBB) in rat-derived samples, using a double-antibody configuration. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL. Reagents are intended for storage at 2–8 °C for 12 months.

In linearity testing on serum (n = 5), EDTA plasma (n = 5) and heparin plasma (n = 5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, recoveries spanned 81–105%. In parallel validation work, the corresponding average recoveries were 94% for serum, 97% for EDTA plasma and 97% for heparin plasma.

Inhibin B is a hormone involved in regulating reproductive function, acting through inhibition of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) release from the pituitary gland. By enabling accurate quantification of Inhibin B in rat models, this Assay Genie kit is suited to research applications including reproductive physiology, fertility studies and evaluation of therapeutic interventions in the male reproductive system.
