Rat Inhibin B ELISA Kit

A colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie configured as a double antibody immunoassay for quantitative measurement of Inhibin B in rat specimens. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm after TMB-based color development.

The workflow begins with equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature before loading standards, samples, and controls onto the pre-coated plate. A primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes allows antigen binding, after which a biotin-labeled detection antibody is added for 60 minutes at 37°C. HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is then applied for 30 minutes before TMB substrate is incubated in the dark for 10-20 minutes. The reaction is stopped and absorbance measured immediately at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.

Reported linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions spans 82-102% for serum, 80-101% for EDTA plasma, and 87-104% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges from 85-103% across the same sample types, with average recovery between 92% and 97%.
