Rat IL-2SR ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate quantitative detection of IL-2SR (Interleukin-2 Soluble Receptor) in rat samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and is reactive with rat. Suitable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance is a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL with a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is given for serum (85–103%), EDTA plasma (82–101%) and heparin plasma (80–100%). Spike-and-recovery across the same matrices falls between 85–105%, with average recoveries of 98% (serum), 96% (EDTA plasma) and 97% (heparin plasma). The unopened kit is stored at 2–8°C and is stable for 12 months under those conditions.

The workflow covers reagent and plate equilibration, a 37°C primary incubation of 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop step with absorbance read at 450 nm. IL-2SR is a soluble receptor involved in T-cell response modulation and immune regulation, relevant to research into autoimmune disease, inflammation and cancer.
