Rat IL-27 ELISA Kit (RTFI00907)

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie, configured as a double-antibody sandwich assay and reactive with rat, is intended for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-27 (IL-27). It supports research into immune response, inflammation, and autoimmune disease mechanisms in rat models.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, n=5) is reported as 85-103%, 86-89% and 83-98% for serum; 89-104%, 82-97% and 82-99% for EDTA plasma; and 90-98%, 82-97% and 82-96% for heparin plasma. Spike-recovery averages are 94% (serum), 99% (EDTA plasma) and 97% (heparin plasma). Kits are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure uses a colorimetric readout with TMB substrate, a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Primary incubation is at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes and HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes prior to colour development.
