Rat IL-24 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of rat Interleukin-24 (IL-24). The assay has a reported detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.92 pg/mL, and reacts specifically with natural and recombinant rat IL-24. Reported precision values are 6.5% intra-assay CV and 8.1% inter-assay CV.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Recovery in serum is reported at an average of 101% (range 95–107%) and in plasma at an average of 103% (range 97–109%). The kit is intended for research use only within immunology research. Interleukin-24 is described as a secreted cytokine with antiproliferative properties on melanoma cells, which may contribute to terminal cell differentiation.
