Rat IL-23a ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of rat Interleukin-23A (IL-23A). It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The kit has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL, with reagents stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

IL-23A is a cytokine involved in regulating immune responses, particularly the development of Th17 cells and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Its dysregulation has been implicated in a range of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions and investigating potential therapeutic targets in rat models.

Reported linearity covers 87–104% for serum, 87–103% for EDTA plasma, and 86–105% for heparin plasma across dilution ranges. Reported recovery averages 93% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 89–98%, 87–102%, and 85–102%. The workflow follows a six-step sandwich protocol with incubation at 37°C and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
