Rat IL-23 ELISA Kit

A highly sensitive sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of interleukin-23 (IL-23) in rat samples. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate and other liquid samples.

Performance specifications include a measuring range of 15.625-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/ml. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development. Reported linearity for serum is 87-105% (1:2), 82-97% (1:4) and 85-99% (1:8); for EDTA plasma, 85-105% (1:2), 87-99% (1:4) and 80-97% (1:8); and for heparin plasma, 88-103% (1:2), 91-101% (1:4) and 81-96% (1:8). Reported spike-and-recovery averages are 99% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma. The kit is supplied with a Bradford reagent for total protein normalisation of lysate samples and should be stored at 2-8°C, where it remains stable for 12 months.
