Designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of Rat IL-18 (interleukin-18) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, this CLIA ELISA Kit from Assay Genie uses a Sandwich-CLIA assay principle read on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. Substrate is then added; only wells containing Rat IL-18, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate generate fluorescence, and the relative light unit (RLU) value, measured by chemiluminescence, is positively associated with the concentration of Rat IL-18 for quantification against the standard curve.
