Rat IL-15 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed to quantify IL-15 in rat-derived samples. The kit is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, with kit components intended to be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The TMB substrate should be protected from direct light during use.

Reported analytical performance includes a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Linearity across dilutions was demonstrated in serum (87–102% at 1:2, 91–104% at 1:4, 96–104% at 1:8; n = 5), EDTA plasma (83–100%, 86–97%, 84–101%; n = 5) and heparin plasma (81–95%, 93–100%, 97–100%; n = 5). Spike-and-recovery experiments (n = 5) returned average values of 91% in serum (range 86–98%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 87–98%) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 86–104%).

IL-15 is a cytokine central to immune cell proliferation and function, with established relevance to inflammatory and autoimmune disease research and to the development of immunotherapies. The kit therefore supports studies of immune system dynamics and disease mechanisms in rat models.
