Rat IL-15 ELISA Kit (RTEB0047)

Designed for the quantitative measurement of Interleukin-15 (IL-15) in rat samples, this sandwich-format ELISA kit from Assay Genie is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It offers a detection range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.84 pg/mL, with reported intra-assay CV of 5.2% and inter-assay CV of 10.2%. The assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant rat IL-15.

IL-15 is a secreted cytokine that stimulates the proliferation of T-lymphocytes through interaction with components of the IL-2 receptor, including IL-2R beta and IL-2R gamma, but not IL-2R alpha. The human homolog of rat IL-15 is recognised as a regulator of T cell and natural killer cell activation and proliferation. The kit is intended for research use only within the immunology research area.
