Rat IL-13 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of rat interleukin-13 (IL-13) using a double-antibody configuration. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. IL-13 (Uniprot P42203) is a cytokine involved in immune responses, inflammation, and allergic reactions, and is a relevant biomarker in studies of asthma, allergic rhinitis, and autoimmune disorders.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL, with detection via TMB substrate and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Spike-and-recovery averages were 95% for serum (range 88–100%), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 87–98%), and 99% for heparin plasma (range 86–103%). Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranged from 84% to 105% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8 °C for 12 months.
