Rat IL-10 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1649)

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie quantifies rat Interleukin-10 (IL-10), a key anti-inflammatory cytokine produced by Th2 cells, regulatory T cells, monocytes, and macrophages. IL-10 plays a central role in immune regulation and is widely studied in models of autoimmune disease, sepsis, transplant rejection, and inflammatory disorders.

The assay uses a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody specific for rat IL-10. Researchers can measure cytokine concentrations across cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, and tissue lysates, as well as in plasma or serum specimens. The standard curve detection range spans 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity of less than 9.4 pg/mL, and the protocol requires a 50 µL sample volume per well.

Each kit includes a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, standards, and assay reagents sufficient for one microplate. Unopened kits should be refrigerated; reconstituted components require freezing and should be protected from light. The assay is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic procedures.
