Rat IKBKB/IKK beta ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the precise quantification of IKBKB (IKK Beta) in rat samples. IKBKB, also known as IKK Beta, is a key regulator of the NF-κB signaling pathway, controlling inflammation, immunity, and cell survival. Dysregulation of IKBKB has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders, and autoimmune conditions, highlighting its value as a research target.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. It is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types, and should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The assay uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Linearity in rat samples (n = 5) is reported at 93–104% (1:2), 89–92% (1:4), and 87–105% (1:8) for serum; 91–100%, 87–95%, and 83–101% for EDTA plasma; and 86–98%, 86–99%, and 83–96% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages are 93% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma), and 95% (heparin plasma).
