Rat IkB alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of IKB alpha in rat samples. The assay is reactive with rat and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The standard curve covers a range of 0.313-20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Spiked recovery in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma averages 93-96%, and dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 84% to 103% depending on sample type.

Components are intended to be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with the microplate strips and lyophilized standard suitable for longer-term storage at -20°C in a sealed foil bag with desiccant. IKB alpha (NFKBIA) is a key regulator of the NF-κB signaling pathway, involved in immune response, inflammation, and cell survival, making this kit suitable for research into related disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets.
