Rat IgG2c (Immunoglobulin G2c) ELISA Kit (RTES01045)

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat IgG2c (Immunoglobulin G2c) levels in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, and is suited to research applications in immune response monitoring, infectious disease, and autoimmune disorders in rat models. The micro ELISA plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat IgG2c. Standards or samples are combined with the specific antibody, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate. After washing and addition of substrate, the reaction is terminated with Stop Solution and the optical density is read at 450 nm ± 2 nm; the OD value is proportional to Rat IgG2c concentration.

Key performance characteristics include a detection range of 3.13-200 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.88 ng/mL, with an assay time of 4.5h and a sample volume of 100µL per well. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Rat IgG2c and analogues was observed. The kit recognises the target with UniProt accession P20762 (Ig gamma-2C chain C region, molecular weight 36,572 Da). An unopened kit can be stored at 4°C for 1 month.
