Rat IGFBP5/Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 5 ELISA Kit

A high-quality Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie enables reliable, colorimetric quantification of Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 5 (IGFBP5) in rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format, with reactivity specific to rat samples, and offers a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL across a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Dilution linearity data are consistent across sample types. In serum (n = 5), values fall within 87–100% at 1:2, 84–96% at 1:4, and 88–96% at 1:8. EDTA plasma (n = 5) shows 86–103%, 85–98%, and 80–98% at the same dilutions, while heparin plasma (n = 5) ranges from 85–105%, 83–93%, and 86–100%. Recovery rates are likewise robust: serum averages 98% (range 94–104%), EDTA plasma averages 93% (range 86–104%), and heparin plasma averages 92% (range 88–101%).

IGFBP5 is a key regulator of insulin-like growth factor signaling, influencing cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis.
